Tim Aldridge of TJ Electrical Ltd. speaks to Zano Controls in this quick-fire round of questions, including why he became an electrician and the biggest problem he has faced with LED dimming (and how Zano came to the rescue)…

Why did you become an electrician?
Well, it was a choice between electrician or plumber for me. I wasn’t really into playing with people’s waste, so the rest is history… (and we don’t blame you).
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Definitely the job satisfaction once a project is completed.
What’s the most interesting job you’ve completed to date?
The pool job, without a doubt (maybe we’ll put in a request for the summer time!).
What are the biggest challenges you face day-to-day?
The logistics and having to be in 3 places at once.
What services have been most in demand this year?
Rewires, so far this year.
Fun fact about you?
I used to kayak all over Europe. I also loved jumping off waterfalls for a buzz (Tom Daley’s got nothing on you, Tim).
How did you find out about Zano Controls?
From our local wholesaler – ABM Electrical.
What’s the biggest LED dimming problem you’ve faced?
Boots Eye Test Centre. They had 8 electricians out to solve a dimming issue, and we sorted it with a ZMO150.
What’s your go-to Zano product?
ZMO150 every time (we can’t argue with you there).
If you could rewire anyone’s house, whose would it be?
